De algún programa de presa rosa

Ayer por la noche me quedé en la cocina catatónica frente al televisor. Bárbara Rey hablaba de su tormentosa relación con su exmarido, Ángel Cristo (sólo ahora me doy cuenta que, de ser sus verdaderos apellidos, los hijos del matrimonio llevarán tras su nombre la coletilla de Cristo Rey). Mientras vivieron juntos él la maltrató, se separaron, y hubo enormes problemas en su relación posterior, que desembocaron en una especie de guerra emocional y rencor sordo. Pero este no es el caso. El caso es que años más tarde, Ángel Cristo cayó enfermo. Ya sin fama y relegado al olvido por seguidores, familia y amigos, Bárbara Rey y sus hijos acudieron a su lado, de donde no se separaron hasta verlo recuperado de su larga enfermedad.

Es un cotilleo de prensa rosa sin trascendencia, lo sé, pero cuando le oí decir que Ángel Cristo era el hombre que más la había querido y que más daño le había hecho, empecé a pensar en los hombres de mi vida, en el amor, en el desamor, y también, por qué no decirlo, en el rencor sordo y la indiferencia ensayada que sigue a la ruptura de una relación cuya única base de subsistencia era el amor terco, en raizado y firme. Y es que hay amores basados en miles de cosas diferentes. En la confianza, en el respeto, en la igualdad de caracteres, en el sexo, en la conveniencia, en el afecto rutinario... Y yo soy muy consciente de los pilares que sustentan cada una de las relaciones de afecto que mantengo, ya sea con mis parejas (que tampoco han sido tantas: dos), con mis amigos (que tampoco son numerosos – soy una mujer de afectos fuertes e indiferencias marcadas) o con mi familia.

Me gustaría hablar de amor. Describir con palabras las sensaciones que me dejó clavadas en la carne el sueño de esta noche, en el que mis dos amores se encontraban, se perdonaban y se entendían hasta el punto de llegar a crear fuertes lazos de complicidad para envolverme y protegerme de mi misma, de mis fantasmas, mis pesadillas y el amor derrochado por ellos, para ellos, y a pesar de ellos. Pero no logro hablar de amor sin hablar de desazón y causas perdidas. ¿Por qué siempre ese sentimiento de pérdida irremediable?¿Es consustancial al amor o sólo a mi modo de vivirlo?
